Skyline Bar – Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel

Set in the heart of Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, in Disneyland Paris is the Skyline Bar, an Avenger’s themed bar featuring breath taking views of the New York Skyline as well as providing an array of drinks for all to enjoy.

We visited late one evening after a long day in the parks and before our restaurant booking at the Manhattan Restaurant. We managed to do a walk up and was seated very promptly.

One thing I really do love about this hotel is the props that you can see in it. If you’re a fan of Marvel there’s a variety of props on display which are free to view to guests and non-guests.

The bar has an amazing set up behind it with ‘windows’ featuring the New York skyline as well as the Avenger’s Tower. A really nice added touch was that it was a ‘live feed’ essentially changing as the evening goes by and features occasional pop ups from Marvel Characters such as Spiderman and Iron Man.

The choice of drinks is vast featuring a range of wines and beers and ciders as well as several speciality drinks. We went around the holiday season and so one of the drinks we chose was a spiced apple warmer which was incredible and I highly recommend. The added castle cookies with it were also a lovely bonus!

The price of the drinks were, in my opinion, reasonably priced. Not only are you getting a fun themed drink, you’re getting the atmosphere with it as well. The above image is from their Christmas drinks menu and I highly recommend the Spiced Apple Warmer, especially if you’re a lover of mulled wine or hot apple cider.

The other drinks we tried whilst visiting were from their signature cocktail menu. I loved that they had some Avenger themed drinks and if you have a sweet tooth then you will love this. If however you aren’t as into the sweeter drinks there are still plenty to choose from.

We tried three of their signature drinks two of which were non alcoholic – Orange Fusion Reactor and The Incredible Green. All were super tasty and as mentioned above they were quite sweet so if you’re not into the sweeter drinks then these may not be for you. The image above featuring the Purple Power Martini was alcoholic and featured a blue berry puree on top which was a very unusual but very tasty touch.

The staff working at the bar were incredibly friendly and welcoming and were great at recommending different drinks to us. It was entertaining watching the bar staff creating the cocktails and getting to witness their creativity.

All in all, if you’re looking for a great evening experience with some signature drinks and a classy yet entertaining atmosphere then I highly recommend the Skyline Bar. It wasn’t too busy when we visited and the overall atmosphere was casual but sophisticated enough to warrant arriving dressed up , ready for a fun evening!

Have you visited? What did you think?
